The TNC Torque Cap Tester is a simple operation test instrument for quickly measuring Open and Close torque values up to 14.8 ft-lbs (20 N-m) on a wide range of test samples with diameters ranging from 0.77" (19.5 mm) to 7.48" (190 mm).

Shimpo Instruments, A Division of Nidec-Shimpo America Corp., has released its latest test equipment with the TTST Manual Torque Test Stands. These rugged test stands enable a torque force to be tightly applied to various Shimpo torque instruments.

The FG-7000L Series digital force gauges now offer a range of Mini Load cells for simple, cost-effective compression testing. The remote, button-style load cells connected via their flexible cable, enable readings to be taken in machinery or fixtures where other force gauge adapters are unable to reach or fit.

The new FG-3000R Series digital force gauges are the choice for simple, cost-effective compression testing. Combining one of the most compact housings, yet maintaining a large back-lit LCD, these units were designed to fit perfectly in the hand for ease of use. The integral button style load-cell attached via the flexible, metal braided cable enables readings to be taken in machinery or fixtures where other force gauge adapters are unable to reach or fit.

Nidec-Shimpo is announcing the expansion of its force grip attachment offering used in compression and tension testing applications. These components are utilized with Shimpo’s line of digital and mechanical force gauges in conjunction with its mechanical and motorized force test stands to create a complete compression or tension test system.
